• In 1997, earned a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Colorado at
Boulder;
• In 2002, graduated near the top of his class from the University of New Hampshire School of Law,
after serving as a law clerk intern to the Honorable Arthur J. Gajarsa
at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit;
• Since 2003, has been licensed to practice law in Colorado and Virginia; and
• Since 2004, has been licensed to practice law by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
